The bar is almost there folks, and I have already scheduled the Tailgate/Bar Stocking party for mid-September. I finished the front trim work this past weekend, as well as the final stain coat, and tonight I applied the first layers of polyurethane, take a look and tell me what you think:
August was a slow month for evil. Maybe it was the heat, I don't know. While we didn't get a lot done in terms of actual takeovers, we continue to lay a very good foundation for eventually ruling the world. I'm almost certain of it. I went ahead and registered for two classes in the area of continuing my pursuit of a master's degree in evil genius. It should look good on my resume. I know I blogged once today already, but I just had to share this. I've been working on the title screen today, and I think I have it finished. I'm pretty happy with the way things are looking. Ok, so I got the main body paneled and stained last week, and this weekend my task was to get the bar top cut (most difficult cut of the project, as I had to notch out the area for the beer gutter). I was successful, and got the top stained this morning. Now all that is left is to add the trim and arm rests, that should be next weekend, and then the bar is technically done. I wll still be doing more work however, as I plan on adding shelving to the interior, but I will take a break ...
Well, I've been back to coding work recently thankfully, so I've been doing some work with ESMS+ once again. I have some big plans for working with ESMS+ that should make the game a better overall experience for everybody, so any progress I make is something I'm always happy with.
